Sustainability Strategy (2021-2025-2030)
We are aware that our world is about to undergo a major
transformation in which both sustainability and digitization play crucial
roles.
Magyar Telekom is dedicated to maintain it's leading role as
a sustainable company and ICT provider. We do more and more to achieve the
above and enable more and more people to do so, too.
Therefore, we have long-term goals defined until 2030, which
we continuously monitor and adapt to the trends, if necessary.
A catalyst of growth for people, families, communities
and businesses, and an accelerator of environment protection.
Our 3 main strategic priorities, in addition to full sustainability compliance are as follows:
- Climate protection
We keep our direct and indirect
emissions (scope 1+2) at net zero by an 84% decrease (compared to 2015) , and
reduce the part of the emissions of our suppliers and customers attributable to
us (scope 3) by 30%.
Our customers to take climate
action and reduce emissions by providing ICT services applicable as climate
protection (i.e. smart) solutions. At least half of our revenues come from services
that support climate protection by 2030.
- Digitization
100% of our customers throughout the country are
provided with gigabit access.
6 million people to achieve responsible
digital maturity.
- Diversity
100% inclusive workplace.
Our
customers with disabilities with 100% accessible UX.
