Sziget Festival

The secret of Sziget, taking place on Hajógyári island, is its diversity: here you can meet stars, local bands, performers rarely to be seen–not to mention the several exciting programs and places. Let’s see some of them! Robbie Williams, Infected Mushroom, Gogol Bordello, The Script, Typhoon, The Ting Tings, Parno Graszt, Kadebostany, Avicii, Kasabian, Mariza, Besh o Drom, Jett Rebel, Limp Bizkit, Passenger–all will be on stage. You’ll meet some special, amazing performances, too: Cirque de Sziget, Luminarium, Grotesque Gymnastics, just to mention a few.

What is that we’ll bring to Sziget? First of all: 4G and free wifi, shown by the specific wifi-pins, to Telekom spots. With the help of our network it won’t be a problem to record and share your experiences, to keep contact with the rest of the world. We also build Telekom Aréna, one of the centres of the festival. It’s a place for parties, one after the other, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. To have a rest, you can pop in Aréna Kert: a place for daytime chillout. All with a strong digital background: on the ’digital fence’ Instagram pictures will be running constantly. Why don’t you send there your selfies? Mr. and Mrs. Selfies help you to take the perfect Sziget-selfie.

Do you have all the necessary digital gadgets? If not, pop in to Sziget Merchandise, where you’ll find great stuff from Telekom: selfie rods, mobile chargers and bluetooth loudspeakers. We take care of your devices, too: Safe@Sziget is a safe place to leave and charge them.

Is this the year when you won’t be able to visit Sziget? No way, we take you in, with the help of FestivalBuddies. The interactive ’puppets’ can enter every single corner of the festival, even the backstage or the stage. To control the Buddies you only have to register on their website, and, when it’s your turn, you can give orders to the BuddyGuides. You will be able to see everything, while the others will see you: during your Buddy-time, with the help of your webcam, the figure will wear your face.
